Flexboj & L.A. operate as an artist duo whose practice is characterised by a symbiotic way of working in the studio. Rather than placing the finished artwork at the centre, their practice focuses on investigating, questioning and expanding the conditions in which a work can emerge. Materials, forms and situations are brought into contact with one another in ever-changing ways, sometimes deliberately, sometimes as the result of chance encounters.

The duo operates as a continuous process of proposal and counterproposal, in which each intervention provides a new impulse that keeps the whole in motion. Instead of developing a fixed methodology, the studio becomes a space where actions, objects and ideas accumulate, shift and are revisited. Play, experimentation, humour and improvisation determine the rhythm of their collaboration.

The resulting installations, actions and images are not the endpoint of a trajectory, but recurring motifs and traces of a shared working environment that continues to evolve.
